Two Letters by Drafters of Iraq Oil Law
Al- Ghad is pleased to publish in full the following two documents presented to the Dubai Seminar on the Draft Oil & Gas Law, held on the 18 April, 07. The Seminar was organised by the Iraqi Parliament. The two authors were not able to present the two papers in full to the Seminar.
The first, “Comments on the Draft Law of Oil & Gas”, is a joint document prepared by Mr. Tariq Shafiq and Mr Faruk Al Qasim.
The second document is an “Open Letter” addressed to the President and the Members of the Iraqi Parliament, by Mr. Tarik Shafiq alone.
Both Msrs Shafiq and Al Qasim the two, together with Mr. Thamer Alghadhban, are the original anthers of the said Draft Law.
